From a small village in Accra, Ghana to IFBB Men's Physique Pro.
From humble beginnings as a child I always had a vision of becoming someone great. I didn't know at the time my success would come from bodybuilding. I grew up in a one room home with my mom and three siblings. My dad traveled to the United States ahead of our family to work towards creating a better future for us. Growing up in Ghana was difficult but instilled great values in me. We had to work hard for what most Americans take for granted. We had no bathrooms, running water, or privacy. As young as six years old, I had to fetch water from the well for cooking, bathing, and washing clothes. We looked forward to Christmas or a birthday for the luxury of drinking one Coke. We walked about 20 miles daily to and from school. We learned to fend for ourselves while my mom was hard at work as a nurse. Education was critical for a future outside of our small village. In the early 90's, my dad was finally able to get our family visas to come to the United States. After 10 long years of waiting, we were overjoyed, relieved, and excited to see our dad again.
I fell in love with basketball and played everyday for countless hours. I had a love for athletics including soccer, wrestling, and football. After high school, I joined the US Navy as an aircraft mechanic during the Iraqi War. Here is where I was introduced to weight lifting. At first, I only trained to accompany my shipmate and didn't really care for training. Until about three months later, my body began to transform from 145 to 175 pounds. This is where my bodybuilding journey began.

On July 2, 2016, one of my dreams came into realization. I earned my IFBB Pro card in Men's Physique. It takes a great deal of self-discipline, consistency, and a burning desire to accomplish a goal like this. I want to share my experience with others to prove you can do anything you set your mind to.
