Our first competition of 2017 has come and gone and this one was the biggest of them all so far, The Arnold Classic in Columbus, Ohio. Looking back to the first competition I attended to support Michael back in October of 2015, I still feel the same excitement when I wait to see him come on stage. Every show brings me the same butterflies as we check in for the athlete's meeting which then leads to hours of waiting for show time. All the months of hard training, fasted cardio, meal prepping, and longing for carbs all comes down to the few minutes you get on stage. Being around so many dedicated people who are passionate about their sport is so exhilarating and contagious.

The crowds of people at the Arnold Expo exceeded 200,000. The energy surpassed all the other shows we've been to combined. To be invited to compete at this event is an accomplishment in itself. An accomplishment I hope to achieve one day.

Michael placed 8th out of 35 top men's physique athlete's in the world. So proud of his work ethic and humble presence on stage. This is only the beginning of a year filled with more competitions, new locations, and new friends on the road to Olympia in September.

Returning from Ohio on cloud nine, I'm ready to work harder than ever before with my contest prep. Giving this prep my all to beat last year's physique. This trip has multiplied my drive 1000 times and I can't wait to show you all the final results.

Here's my physique update: 16 weeks vs 12 weeks out
